CAT JONES
Cat Jones, a multi-media artist and independent curator, focuses on themes of identity, self-acceptance, and reflection in his work. Using his background in mental health, he creates narratives that highlight interpersonal dialogues with the external world in an inviting, sharp, and warm manner. As a DJ, Cat’s sets aim to examine external worlds while encouraging excitement, curiosity, self-reflection, and compassion.
Recently, Cat has curated exhibitions for Oyoun and LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) and earned a BA in Human Services from California State University of Fullerton. His work emphasizes amplifying the voices of Black and Queer individuals, as well as providing artistic and healing spaces for the community.
