Berlin Strippers Collective provides a platform where strippers can organise events independently from strip club managers. When the rules of the game in an exploitative industry could not be changed, we decided to play our own game instead. Our events center fair working conditions and push against obsolete binary gender roles. By bringing our bodies and voices to spaces outside the sex industry, in a society where we are expected to be either exploitated victims or angry activists, finding moments of fun, community and mutual support is revolutionary.
