Hailing from New York, Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield are the DJ and producer duo, musclecars. In 2018, the pair launched Coloring Lessons, first a party then later a label, heavily focused around house, disco, jazz and soul, led with the intention of connecting New York’s dance music scene with its golden era roots of Paradise Garage, The Loft, Body and Soul, to name a few. Through a regular stream of high quality mixes and multiple outstanding releases, musclecars are constantly turning heads in underground circles while staying true to their original mission—bringing people together around music appreciation and a constant evolution of sound.
