Maryama Luccioni is the founder of the legendary Berlin label and party series, African Acid Is The Future, whose reputation grew beyond the club scene as she became a musical curator for many platforms. Collecting records since the age of 14, Maryisonacid is best described as an ambulant musical library, following the artist’s upbringing from Paris Barbès to the punk scene of Berlin. Her love for music is the key quality of her sets, transforming dance moments into special and cinematic journeys, “from afro to techno and everything in between,” with the ease and energy of someone who knows how to drive a party.
