GRACE SANDS

Grace is a veteran of the U.K.’s first deep house sound system, DiY Soundsystem, which peaked during the free party heyday of the 90’s. As one half of the duo Digs and Woosh, she helped define the deep house sound for which the collective became famous. Grace has traveled the world playing at various venues and festivals, including Glastonbury’s iconic queer venue NYC Downlow. She is known for her ability to read a crowd and blend influences old and new, and is described as the “uber grande dame of the free party deep house massive.” Look out for Grace’s new mixtape, showcasing all original material and dedicated to her longtime friend and collaborator Pete Woosh.
