DRAGMOTHER is the DJ persona of Tazmé Pillay, founder of The Death Of Glitter, one of Cape Town’s most influential queer nightlife happenings. Tazmé’s approach to DJing is informed by his experience as a performance artist, club kid, and his inherent desire to just dance. As DRAGMOTHER, she is fascinated by the intersections of underground sounds with pop music, resulting in sets that are wickedly propulsive, stylishly over the top and a bit chaotic, just like her.
